Welcome to my website- My name is Chris Ballard. To tell you
something's about my self- I started in the truck business
30 + years ago and retired from Freightliner as the
Center/Wholesale manager in 2008. I buy and sell quality
trucks today as a hobby with my partner & Owner of
Irrigon Motors / John Wenholz. We primarily deal in Farm
Applicable Trucks. Dealer License DA5852D
I also started farming several years ago. I bought farming
ground in Goldendale, Washington and started growing wheat
and several types of hay, including Haybet & Hoodie Barley
which are beardless barley types and quality Alfalfa.

Currently as well, I farm for several land owners on a
percentage basis. This is called Share Cropping.
I provide the
work, fuel, repairs, equipment, chemicals,
fertilizer, seed and any and all expenses to farm the crops.
Besides the generous land tax break for the land
owners they also receive a percentage of the crop or value
of the crop.
Farmed ground is also more valuable than ground that
is not cared for. |

interested in additional farming of land in
Goldendale, Washington area.
Share Cropping is done by a contract with the land owner and
the Ballard Farms and registered with the Farm Services
Agency and Klickitat County.
